JEWEL - LUCKY CHARM WITH THE TURQUOISE SPIDER

The original luxury Pendant is a unique and exclusive small sculpture with a lucky spider. 
The main element of the bijoux is a spider with legs, the front of the body and antennae studded with small Viennese crystals while the belly is formed by a large turquoise. 
The spider rests on a baroque frame painted in gold with a black background handmade in polymer clay.
The golden metal chain used to wear the jewel is closed with a clasp shaped like a musket and is distinguished by having inserted in a ring a small and charming spider, always in the same material.


SYMBOLOGY OF THE SPIDER

The symbology of the spider, like that of the snake, is ambivalent: it can be both positive and negative in relation to how its anatomical, behavioural, even "psychological" characteristics have been interpreted.
The collective imagination was particularly impressed by its industriousness and its great technical precision in weaving its own canvas. From this are derived many myths (starting from the Greek of Arachne) in which these characteristics are loaded with moral values.
