A black mains 230v 16a 3-pin round inlet, allowing mains hook-up at campsites
These are often fitted to Rollerteam Motorhomes
This fits flush to the vehicle body - This is supplied with a waterproof padded gasket which sits between the unit and the vehicle body. The lid is held closed by a clip
It has a latch on the inside so that your plugged in cable remains in place
An aperture size of 106mm is required for fitting, plus a notch for the lid hinge (39mm x 11mm) with 85mm clearance required behind the unit
PLEASE NOTE: Once the lid is fitted it is not intended to be removed, only fit the lid when the installation is near complete. You may notice in the second photo the small round foam pad on the inside of the lid. The lid itself is not watertight when closed, the waterproofing comes via the foam pad blocking off the mains socket when the lid is closed. When the foam is new it may cause the lid to bulge slightly. This is normal and it will reduce once the foam pad has compressed after a few days. If you are fitting this as part of a new build, a cutting diagram is not provided with the item by FAP, but we have included the cutting dimensions as part of the item images. It is suggested to make a template out of thick card using the cutting dimensions provided and then test the card template on the inlet. Please make sure to look at the last photo.
