CONDITION STANDARDS - Applies to all pieces, but doesn't consider tarnish, which can be removed with polish. Even factory sealed pieces often have some tarnish.
WELL USED: Factory finish gone, piece may have dings and deep scratches
GOOD: Factory finish may be diminished, scratches from normal use, no deep scratches or dings unless noticed
VERY GOOD: Retains most or all of the original factory finish and has no deep scratches or nicks unless noted, but has numerous and noticeable light scratches from normal use
EXCELLENT: Has most or all of its original factory finish, minor scratches from normal use but not distracting.
NEARLY NEW: Full factory finish, only the most minor scratches from very limited use, any steel blades are free of wear and scratches
UNUSED: Perfect condition, though even if in original factory bags pieces may have some tarnish
