During the the warmer months when the chimney is not in use, it can become a favorable place for birds to nest. This can cause major issues, when the time comes to light the fire. The blockage over time can become quite dense preventing adequate draw for the fire, starving it off oxygen. The Doblit Crow Guard is designed to squeeze over the existing chimney pot, with no needs for tools or "extra bits". The cage is made from 6mm steel bars and fully galvanized to protect it from the elements.
