I’m letting go of another rare and beautiful piece of Australian art by Harry Rosengrave (1899-1986), one of Australian renowned modern artists.

He was best friends with Fred Williams. It was said that the duo went to painting excursions together in a number of occasions and held joint exhibitions.

This beautiful linocut of low limited edition of only 30 produced in 1955. This is the copy 10/30. The artwork is numbered, signed and entitled in pencil.

The artwork depicts the landscape of a moonlit night. Up on the hill, a little house quietly basked in the quiet moon light. The winding path up the hill leading to the house is visible in the moon light. Behind the house is the glimpse of the valley.

This beautiful piece of art is perfect for a modern or contemporary home, particularly one surrounded by the mountain or forest settings.

It is measured 58cm wide by 59cm high including the frame.

The artwork is in a lovely frame and thick board. It is measured 95cm by 88cm including the frame.
