A 1942 business letter from James P. Pierce of Pierce Hardware in Milford to Mr. Ellis V. Danner in Dover. Pierce graduated from Milford High School and Pierce hardware was a staple in Milford going back to the World War 1 era, located on Walnut Street, until the 1950s. Mr. Danner was a lifelong Dover resident and operated a farm on Bay Road. The back actually has notes written by Mrs. Danner. A nice piece of local history that would look great framed and hanging on the wall of your Milford area home! Measures 8.5" x 6.5".
