Made In England Circa late 1940's/50's - Stamped Sylva Chrome 592790 Made In England
Classic English stainless steel compact slimline pocket cigarettes case of the era. A delicate engine turned pattern runs the outside, beveled edges, front scroll cartouche engraved H.J.L. Push button opening reveals a polished interior perfect to hold cigarettes 7.5cm x 1cm (75mm x 10mm) approx. The original metal sprung retainer strap is in situ.The case is large enough to hold a few credit cards and folded notes too.
A previous keepers address is lightly engraved to the inside adding to the vintage nostalgia of this item.
