1850s Purple Transferware Ironstone Tourist Plate Deal England German Made.

This tourist plate from Deal England measures about 7 inches. I was told by my Facebook group on British pottery that these “ A PRESENT FROM…” were commonly made in Germany. From the dress it should be right around the 1850s.

This is in pretty good condition a flea bite on the rim. Some manufacturing marks on the front. Chip to the base. A very fun piece.

Came from an Estate Sale in Connecticut.
