On receipt of your Icelandic sheepskin rug please brush the fleece from the middle to the outside 

to gain optimum effect of the beautiful tone to the sheepskin.

Icelandic rugs should be hand washed, again from middle to outside with a damp cloth and air dryed.

All rugs are measured from top diagonal to bottom of leg for length, and from leg to leg for width fleece side up. 

This is the standard measuring way accepted within the industry.

125 - 130 cm length x 70 - 80 cm width

130 - 140 cm length x 75 - 85 cm width
