A unique  museum masterpiece pre war selmer esquire prototype art deco, in exceptional conditions,. full of  mother of pearl and abalone hand made cut inlays from headstock with a tuba hat ,the dog,the walking stick, and the  pipe,  to the neck, to the ebony scratchplate to the S Holes to the binding and the neck heel,  beautiful maple flamed  back  and sides and neck with patterns, with other woods such as ebony, teak and african mahogany ,real brass original tuning keys that do keep in tune !the tone  is just incredible and very sparkly , the neck is very fast and with a low action, the tailpiece is a full brass style art deco', comes with the original  case.  Blonde finish has a beautiful yellowed patina that only a guitar 82 years old could emulate, its one of the most ornate guitars we have ever owned, its spruce top is quite colorful & grainy, it has fantastic triple layered black & white checkerboard binding on every edge of its body front & back, it has S-shaped “F” holes bound w/checkerboard w/an abalone & pearl inlaid wooden pickgard, it has a nice fat 5-piece maple neck, its headstock & ebony fingerboard are also inlaid with abalone & pearl ribbons as well as being completely checkerboard bound, its closed back gold tuners are very well designed as well as its fancy gold deco tailpiece  even its "floating" 3-piece wooden bridge is a piece of deco artwork, this is the only example we have ever encountered & may be the only one left, it is excellent overall having no cracks or repairs ever, it is a 1 of a kind Jazz Guitar that will enhance any great guitar collection, comes with its nice brown tolex Lifton hard case.
