BirminghamSterling/Glass Jewlery box (Boots Pure Drug Co.) 1915.

Precious little glass and sterling jewelry box perfect for rings earrings, small strand of pearls….etc.

In researching I have found that the marks BP /DC are from the Boots Pure Drug Co. England. The anchor signifies Birmingham, the lion signifies 925 sterling and the t signifies the Birmingham date letter which is 1915.

It is an excellent condition for its age… There are a few dark spots on the sides and a couple of very minor creases which you can magnify to see.

Other than that it is in remarkable condition.

The glass is clear.

Here is a little bit of fun history on the boots pharmacy and the Queen.

Queen Elizabeth II /Her Royal Highness impacted Boots and our team members at many poignant points in her life and reign, from Boots' very first Royal Warrant awarded by Her Majesty to celebrations for her 90th birthday and beyond. We wanted to commemorate The Queen's ever-present influence by highlighting some memorable moments from the Boots Archive.
