We are a start-up RC company focused on one thing and that is to re-design, re-engineer and produce only the finest RC parts that have "commonly" failed across all Tamiya and other RC brand kits, focusing on but not limited to re-releases and old school releases.
A5 & B8 "Gold Edition" Part Upgrades
We redesigned the original plastic structures and simplified the surfaces while removing excess material where possible to save on weight. We then CNC machined both parts from 7075-T6 aeronautical industry grade aluminium, finely sandblasted (120 grit) for a more "mirror finish" and then we anodised the parts in light gold to match our brand standard. The design looks amazing and photos simply don't do it justice as to how they reflect light, they just look that good! Put simply? An aesthetically pleasing design that's super strong and rigid when combined together with our 304 grade Stainless Steel Hinge Pins. Enjoy no more stripping of the thread on the plastic lower (D1) control arms. These pins have been custom machined to the highest tolerances with a flat head design and single e-clip for a more box art look and easier removal and installation, not to mention rust free! Also, don't forget adding our G4 & G5 Shock towers to the package for the ultimate look and maximum strength!!
Hinge Pin Set includes: 4x Stainless Steel Pins, 3x Nylon washers (one spare), Aluminium spacer and 4x E-Clips.
As for the technical stuff, try a reverse engineered CNC machined 7075-T6 aeronautical industry grade Aluminium. Nothing comes stronger in terms of yield strength (450Mpa). Then we sandblast and anodise the part for additional hardness and durability in a light gold finish. Anodised aluminium will never chip, flake, or peel and it is much more durable than any other similar material on the market. Anodised aluminium is three times harder than the raw material.
Yield Strength is the stress a material can withstand without permanent deformation or a point at which it will no longer return to its original dimensions (by 0.2% in length). Whereas, Tensile Strength (520Mpa) is the maximum stress that a material can withstand while being stretched or pulled before failing or breaking.
Aluminium 7075 is used for highly stressed structural applications and is an important material for making structural aircraft parts, tooling and more. It is heat-treatable, ductile, strong and tough. 7075 T6 aluminium properties feature a tensile strength that is nearly double that of 6061 T6 aluminium properties and is substantially harder as well.
Testing
Our test car, the Terra Scorcher features a Tamiya Super Stock RZ brushed motor with 2s lipo revving to approx. 28,000rpms. On two fully charged rounds featuring aggressive turns, accidental flips and jumps off a 15cm ramp, we witnessed zero deflection or any visual strain to the bracket.
Pricing
Our pricing structure has been calculated based on the labour and material requirements of 3d modelling, 3d printed sampling, manufacturing a finished prototype including real world testing. eBay's commission has been taken into account. Any profits get re-invested into new parts.
