CUSTOM TURQUOISE BULL JEWEL

The Turquoise Bull Jewel is an unique and original necklace of ethnic-tribal style created and painted by hand by Amira Munteanu Bergmann taking inspiration from the ancestral fertility cults venerating the bull, its power and its prowess.
The central body of the jewelry is composed of a silver floral frame on which is attached a 3d mini-sculpture representing the head of an azure bull having a turquoise bead on the front and hanging from the horns two blue metallic balls. Two other amber elements impetuously illuminate the composition.
The back of the Pendant is an identical frame to the front. In its central part Amira of Transylvania can create a pesonalization (with acronyms, symbols, phrases, seals, logo...) satisfying the customers' wishes and tastes. 
The Bijoux is completed by a pendant with a sequence of elements ending with a long tassel.
The upper part of the Jewel is asymmetrical. It is formed by gold-colored and mastered blue/ turquoise mini-sculptures and it is closed by a turquoise chain. 


SYMBOLISM

The bull, especially in ancient Mediterranean lands, was a symbol of invincible strength, sacrifice, and altruism. Associated with agricultural cults, it represented the male principle of fertility and, therefore, the fertilization itself. Associated with Shiva by Hinduism, in some traditions it was portrayed as a companion of the fertility goddess. In Mithraism the bulls sacrificed to the Earth symbolized the penetration of the male into the female, the fire (the sun’s rays as a source of fertility) on the wet.


TRIBAL ETHNIC JEWELRY

The Turquoise Bull Jewel is part of a collection of ethnic Jewels and Pendants inspired by the traditions and aesthetics of specific tribes, more or less ancient, from various parts of the world. 
The Project aims to rediscover and enhance the identity and peculiarities of local cultures through the revival and reinterpretation of ethnic jewelry, talismans, amulets to counter the megatrend of communication, of the uprooting/disembedding, of the loss of the memory of the past, triggered and fed by the ideology of globalization.
Within ancient tribal cultures, everything worn, especially during religious ceremonies, was cloaked in an aura of mystery and sacredness. 
Consequently, the jewels, although also having a decorative and ornamental function, first of all, were thought to have deep symbolic and magical values linked to religion and superstition.
To remain faithful to this spirit and since in the realization of ceremonies and magical rituals are fundamental not only the gestures that are performed and the formulas that are pronounced but also the tools that are used, the creation of this mini-sculpture has followed a specific path in tune with the secret rules of the Arcane in order to load it with appropriate energies.
