BBC Micro Model A, B & B+ Power Supply Unit Capacitor Repair kit
Pack of 3 replacement capacitors to restore non-working BBC Micro PSU.
If your BBC power supply still has the original RIFA capacitors, or if they have already let out the magic smoke then you need to replace them.
Kit includes:
1 x 100nF Class X2 capacitor 275VAC (C2)
1 x 10nF Class X2 capacitor 275VAC (C1)
1 x 220uF 25V capacitor 105°C (C9)
Warning: The power supply contains dangerous voltages even if powered off and capacitors are charged. Do NOT attempt this repair unless you have the required skills and experience.
You will also need a soldering iron with a suitable wattage to replace the capacitors some of the PSU pads have a high thermal mass.
