Lot #3 - 250 cat eyes style swirl, misc. marbles - 2 lb 14 ounces -
I am providing good pictures, and some approximate measurements. I am sure many of these are vintage glass, stone, or agate. Some are probably newer. The experts who are bidding will make the decision on what it what and its value.
THAT SAID, WITH SELLING THESE AS A LOT, I CAN'T ACCEPT RETURNS WITH THE GEMS HAVING BEEN REMOVED - NO RETURNS!!!
I bought these over many years at estate sales and auctions. Many of them came on flats separated out on foam "egg" style compartments. I knew then, and now also, very little about marbles. I was and am sure that many of these are special. I started to try to sort them out to sell individually or in small lots, but quickly figured out that while I have extensive knowledge on vintage glassware, I was way out of league here, So, I decided to take what I had separated out and sell them as a wholesale lots. Someone with knowledge, time, and effort should be able to make money on these as I hope that I left plenty of meat on the bone. Time and run of first auction will determine how well I guessed at starting values.
There will be about 15-20 lots to begin. I will combine shipping on multiple auctions won. Ask for, and wait for, me to send you a invoice with reduced shipping.
