Come with us as we experience a bold new venture in Christmas

choral presentations.

All the joy and excitement of the traditional Christmas celebration

is to be found here — the joy of Mary, the awe and wonder of the

shepherds, the pilgrimage of the Wise Men.

But there is much more!

The experience of Christmas — the real experience — is to be found

beyond these things. It is found in the very life of the Man whose birth

we celebrate.

Christ’s birth is a promise. The life of Christ and the sacrifice He

made in His death is the fulfillment of that promise. Unless we carry an

awareness of that fulfillment in our hearts our celebration of His birth

holds less meaning.

Christmas is more than just a time to commemorate our Savior’s

birth. Rather, it is an opportunity to reaffirm His presence in our lives.

It is a time to be reminded of His promise: “Lo, I am with you always,

even to the end of the earth.”

Come celebrate with us the wonders of birth, life, death, and

triumphant resurrection. Let us also experience together the

transforming power of His glorious presence within us, giving us new

life, life abundant!

For without Him, there is no life — and no eternity.

Widely known as a composer, arranger, and editor,

LANI SMITH has scored favorably in all aspects and

styles of music. His long list of works includes

anthems, organ pieces, cantatas, musicals, masses,

symphonic scores, ballet scores, and various forms of

chamber music. He has received many awards for his

work, including the Beams prize from Columbia

University and an award from ASCAP for his

contributions to church music literature.

While she is a junior high guidance counselor by

profession, CAROL POHLY manages to maintain an

active interest and involvement in many facets of art.

During the past 18 years she has written many poems

and short prose pieces and has just recently turned

her attention to the field of lyric writing, as

evidenced by her work on this album. Her gift lies in

her ability to express deep feelings and thoughts in

unique, yet simple, ways that relate to the experience

of all who hear them.

At the age of 24, DAVID PATTON is already an

arranger, director, and producer of increasing stature

in the Nashville area. His performing background is

richly varied, having appeared as instrumentalist with

The New Californians, The Hear and Now Singers,

Cynthia Clawson, and others. Producing and directing

are his main interests, however, and to this end he has

already established his own jingle company and is

currently earning an additional Bachelor of Science

degree in music business at Belmont College in

Nashville. His valuable range of talents and abilities

are abundantly evident in this recording.
