Harris Tweed Sport Coat, 44R, Brown Barleycorn

Previously owned by a retired English professor, this classic Harris Tweed sport coat was designed by Brook Taverner. Its distinctive multi-colored barleycorn weave is complex and earthy, blending flecks of green, tan, brown, and cream. The jacket was well cared for and gently worn and possesses a nearly pristine lining. This garment is in superb condition, showing no visible signs of flaw or defect. Its features include 100% wool outer, leather buttons, 100% viscose lining, two-button front closure, three-button cuff, double back vent, two patch pockets, and one breast pocket. In addition, it features four inside pockets. Generously cut, it is true to its 44R sizing. Traditionally a wardrobe essential, Harris Tweed woolens are legendary for their aesthetic beauty, enduring quality, and timeless style. Purchased new, they sell upward of $500, so a jacket in such superb condition and at this price point is indeed a savvy deal.
