This is a very rare Pink frosted and clear Art Deco Nymphen / Mermaids Trinket Set or Dressing table Set. These were made in the Depression era 1920's and 1930's between the 2 World Wars and are nearly 100 years old, nearly antique.
This Trinket Set was made by August Walther & Sohne in Dresden in Germany. It is a large, heavy 10 piece set and there are 2 large Mermaid candle stick holders, so this is a large and heavy set.
The set comprises:-
One large Trinket Tray measuring 14 inches or 36.5cm wide by 10.5 inches or 26.5cm deep.
Two large Mermaid Candle Stick Holders 8.5 inches or 21.5cm high and 4 inches or 10cm wide across the base.
One large Trinket Pot 5 inches or 12.5cm wide and nearly 3 inches or 7.5cm high, with a lid that sits on top with a Mermaid on top of the lid.
Two smaller Trinket Pots 3.5 inches or 9cm wide with lids that sit on top with Mermaid on top of the lid.
One Ring Holder 3.5 inches or 9cm wide.
The whole Trinket Set or Dressing Table Set is in very good condition for its age, with only two very small chips. There is one small chip inside the large Trinket Pot lid. There is one little chip on the shell of one of the small trinket lids
It is a good quality Trinket Set and is very heavy when combined and on display. Have a look at all the photos to see the lovely dark pink colour and condition.
