CT2 is the norm for second-generation cordless phones; CAI is the Common Air Interface, which has been developed in the UK and is now being specified as a European standard by the European Telecommunication Standard Institute (ETSI).
In 1991 Motorola, is handing out 2000 handsets for the Deutsche Telekom Telepoint's "Birdie" telepath field trial in Munich.
The participant can make calls with the device - it has 30 memory slots for preprogrammed numbers - near birdie stations, which are installed in pedestrian zones, stations and airports.
Condition: The mobile phone has been used and shows light signs of usage, but is in very good condition for its age. The handset does not come with a battery or charger so it has not been tested working. Please check the images for further details.
