Tests as 9 ct gold. There is also a rubbed 9 ct gold mark on the closing ring

The links are intact and strong making it a durable and wearable staple. The fancy linking brings bulk to the chain whilst the links remain solid and not prone to damage.

An antique gold colour, not brash, probably English from the 1950's.
