If you're building and modifying your own GOTEK drives, you'll know how awkward wiring up the rotary encoder can be. You need to solder wires to the pins, and connect two pins together, then heatshrink them for protection. You can get encoders fitted to PCBs already on eBay, but they don't fit in the gap properly as supplied.

With these PCBs, it makes the job of modification a lot easier. You simply fit the connection pins, solder the PCB to the encoder, and mount it internally in the GOTEK case. It's designed to fit in the gap perfectly, when you drill the hole with a 7mm hole at the indent already in the case. You then just use the common DuPont connectors, to plug into the various parts on the GOTEK for Ground and the select switch, and the A and B for the direction controls, as per the usual modification instructions.

The PCB is designed to perfectly fit the Bourns encoder, but also fits most, if not all of the cheaper Chinese brand ones you can get off eBay.

Please see the photos for an example installation, and note that you're getting 5x PCBs and 20x header pins in one sale as per the main first photo.
