This gorgeous vintage mid century Stag Minstrel 7 drawer tallboy can be been beautifully upcycled in Railings No.31 paint, and will add a touch of grandeur to any room in your home.
The old tallboy with it's solid dovetail joint drawers will be stripped of it's worn mahogany veneer ready to be painted with 2x coats of Farrow & Ball Undercoat, followed by 2x coats of Farrow & Ball Railings topcoat in modern eggshell. For added detail we will also take the time to paint the dovetail joints of the drawers to really make the quality stand out.
The exterior of the tallboy will then be coated in several layers of Polyvine varnish for added durability, and the interior will be nourished and conditioned with lemon oil to really bring out the natural beauty of the wood.
To add a soft industrial feel the original tattered hardwear has can be replaced with stunning vintage cast iron knobs or the main drawers, and vintage cast iron 'The Old Printing Shop Portobello Rd London' pull handles for the smaller drawers.

The Stag Minstrel furniture was made from makore (or African Cherry), both solid and veneered. The range of furniture was introduced in 1964 as a result of a collaboration between Stag and design consultants John and Sylvia Reid and it was possibly the best-selling bedroom furniture range ever.
Inspired by the simple elegance of 18th century furniture, the range is more popular than ever for people looking for sustainability as an integral part of their interior design.
