The Setay Story: Virginia Yates owned Setay Gallery of Beverly Hills in the 1960’s. She came to California from Virginia to study with the Pasadena Playhouse.  After graduation, she  worked in Paramount Studios’ publicity department. Yates turned to her true passions of art, sculpture and gemstones when work became scare and found fulfillment in her artistic calling. Her sculptures are noted for mixing gold, gemstones and often incorporate natural rock or a mineral base.
