Beautiful antique
doll with wonderful pale blue glass eyes, a lovely and very rare closed mouth doll made by Simon & Halbig, dated about 1888.
Her bisque socked head is incised S 8 H 949.
This cute character doll is a dream.
She has beautiful pale blue glass set eyes with fine painted eye lashes, pierced ears for earrings. Old doll wig and antique clothes. The wig is not glued to the head, I can stuff her head inside for the safe journey. Antique composition body
with nice old factory finish. The stringing of her body is fine. Her hands have all fingers with colour mendings, the red lines of her hands are partly faded. She wears a pretty antique dolldress, underwear and a lovely antique bonnet with red flowers. For her high age this antique doll is in good condition with minor age wear.
I did the lamp test, bisque socket head without hairline, without cracks. Her eyerims are not damaged, I can only see few tiny colour touch-ups there, surely no damage. On her cute closed mouth there is a red line, it is a colour line that was caused during the production when the doll face was painted, it is no damage, no hairline. I

beautiful smooth & pale bisque with lovely features. I guarantee that her head has no hairline. Her antique body is in good condition with small colour loss. Her antique clothes are pretty with traces of age, they probably need some stitches here and there. Please notice the photos are part of my description. This doll is surely antique, over 100 years old, no reproduction. She is a very rare doll.

Antike Puppe mit geschlossenem Mund, Simon & Halbig, datiert um 1888. Biskuitporzellan-Kurbelkopf, gemarktet S 8 H 949. Sie hat wunderschöne, mintblaue feste Glasaugen, die Augen dieser Puppe ziehen den Betrachter sofort in den Bann, sie hat Ohrlöcher in den Ohrläppchen für Ohrringe. Helles, schön modelliertes Porzellan. Alte Perücke, antike Kleidung mit antikem Puppenhut mit roten Blumen. Höhe der Puppe stehend circa 34 cm. Antiker Puppenkörper aus Holz und Masse mit altem finish. Ihre Hände haben alle Finger, der antike Puppenkörper ist gut erhalten mit leichten Spielspuren (es gibt kleine alte Farbabplatzer), die Gummis vom Körper sind in Ordnung, nicht ausgeleiert. Ihre Hände wurden farblich ausgebessert, die roten Konturlinien sind stellenweise verblasst. Bitte beachten, die zahlreichen Fotos sind Bestandteil meiner Verkaufsbeschreibung. Der Puppenkopf wurde von innen und aussen behutsam durchleuchtet, Puppenkopf garantiert ohne Haar-Riss, ohne Sprünge. Die Augenausschnitte sind nicht beschädigt, es gibt minimale farbliche Ausbesserungen an den Augenausschnitten, diese sind sehr dezent und für eine antike Puppe die deutlich älter als 100 Jahre ist nicht störend. Auf Wunsch kann ich weitere Bilder vom durchleuchteten Kopf senden. Die antike Perücke ist nicht am Kopf festgeklebt, ich kann den Kopf innen mit Papier oder Watte füllen. Der süsse, geschlossene Mund ist nicht beschädigt, ohne Haar-Riss, es gibt eine feine rote Farblinie am Mund, diese ist herstellungsbedingt bei der Bemalung der Puppe entstanden (keine Beschädigung, kein Riss). Die antike Kleidung ist schön mit sichtbaren Altersspuren, stellenweise zum herrichten für eine Puppenschneiderin, wenn man dies möchte, ich habe alles so belassen wie vorgefunden. Diese kostbare Charakterpuppe ist traumhaft schön! Es handelt sich sicher um eine antike Porzellankopfpuppe, über 100 Jahre alt, keine Replik. Fragen beantworte ich gerne.
