Very rare AOL Communicator. It was the AOL version of the Research in motion 950. It was released in blue colour and had custom software on it, different from the BlackBerry OS.

Introduced in 1998,the 950 was the second RIM paging device.The first one was the RIM-900 Inter@ctive Pager,also extinct.

This was before the Blackberry era.

The device is turning on, but it has some dead lines on the screen. Please inspect the photos before buying.

Uses 1 standard AA battery (not included)

Comes with US wall charger and desktop cradle with serial connector. The charger is not needed as it uses disposable batteries. It can be used in Europe with a steo-down transformer to convert the power to 110v. Do NOT use a travel plug to connect the charger to 240v! The wall charger is rated 110v!

It has been cleaned but shows minor signs of wear.
