Very rare 1935 Royal Paragon Art Deco Bone China Footed Tea Cup & Saucer produced to replicate the style and colours of the Plymouth period which goes back to the Bronze age; white china patterned with cobalt blue and yellow decal and multicoloured floral sprays, finished with a gold gilt trim.

The pattern number is G3757 / 2 and the registration number is 780094 which dates this to the 1930's. 

In lovely condition. No chips, cracks or crazing to the glaze however there is minimal wear to the gold gilt trim which is consistent with age and very careful use. There are tiny dots and marks within the glaze which are iron ore and paint particles that have oxidised at high temperature in the kiln and are particularly common in vintage and antique china, in particular a small patch of blue paint migration inside the cup.

Tea Cup:  4 inches diameter at widest point to handle edge x 2 inches high 

Saucer: 5 diameter
