Up for sale is a very nice example of an interesting lens by Asahi Pentax, the CPC Phase 2 80-210mm f/4 macro zoom.

CPC, along like Takumar-A, and Cosmicar, was a label used by Asahi Pentax in the 80's to market its non-SMC lenses. This lens shares DNA with the similar-length 70-210mm Pentax-A lens, but with a slightly different coating and focal length combo. Like its Pentax-branded siblings, it produces lovely, sharp images, with loads of character

Lovely vintage condition with light exterior wear, perfect mechanics, and glass free of scratches/haze/fungus.

This lens features the “A” version Pentax K mount, which can be used natively on all Pentax K mount SLRs and DSLRs, with mechanically coupled aperture on early K mount film cameras and electronic coupling on later Pentax film cameras and DSLRs. It also can easily be adapted for manual use on most popular DSLR, and mirrorless formats with an inexpensive adapter ring (sold separately, see chart below for digital compatibility).
