Gorgeous Reticulated Early Spode Pearlware Underplate w Grapes; circa 1820 Basketweave.  This is a delightful piece for your Spode collection and one of my very favorite patterns ..... ever.  It's probably a gravy underplate and it's a brilliantly designed for anything that might drip since it has the basketweave bottom.  Under magnification, it looks like they used a blue transfer and then hand painted the vibrant colors over that.  It is marked with an impressed Spode mark and painted in red pattern number of 3057.  It is in excellent condition.  Under magnification you can see 2 minute chips to the back reticulation, 5 tiny hairlines to the reticulation (one goes through to the front), no crazing .......... just a beautiful piece.  It measures 7.75" by 9.5".  We will insure it and pack it with great care.  Enjoy !
