The Straw Spike is great for making a smaller hole in the top of a soda can instead of opening it with the factory tab. The use of the straws and caps make your drink insect proof if done right.

The Straw Spike is also great for making a hole in a plastic soda / water bottle cap to insert a straw with cap. A tiny vent hole is required for the soda / water bottle caps.
