About Chetta B by Peter Noviello and Sherrie Bloom:
Peter Noviello and Sherrie Bloom started their company in 1980. Previously Sherrie had headed her own knitwear division of Teal Traina called "Sherena," and Peter had worked as a designer for a variety of companies. By 1988, Chetta B was one of the hottest labels at Saks Fifth Avenue and had a feature area in Bergdorf Goodman. Their designs were fashion-forward and inspired by European design houses. The company was sold in the early 2000’s and the quality of apparel under the Chetta B label has changed significantly since that time.
