This Roberts RP28 radio is almost  30 years old and is effectively brand new having been carefully stored since purchase with, to my knowledge,  no known use ( apart from testing for this advert) .  It covers the full FM waveband from 88MHz to 108MHz plus the Medium and Long Wavebands.  It has switchable AFC and a rotary tone control and is a very easily operated pre-set radio. There are four pre-set stations for VHF, one for MW and one for LW, all under a perspex cover and  the tuning tool is also under it.

 It is approx. 10"( 25 cms)   x 6.5" ( 17 cms )  x 3.5" ( 9 cms )  and has a 32" telescopic aerial, a headphone socket and a strong  covered carry handle. The wooden cabinet is covered in beautiful silver grey coloured leathercloth and has teak wooden ends.

To the best of my knowledge this is complete and original in all respects .  All the control knobs and push buttons are original and complete and working correctly, the leathercloth is very clean free of any marks and scratches, the aerial is straight and extends perfectly. The battery compartment is absolutely clean with no obvious signs of usage. 

I have taken lots of close-up photos of the radio in order to show the cosmetic condition in detail. A perfect radio for anyone who needs a good quality sounding radio for everyday use.

It works on either 6 C size batteries ( my test set will be included)  or a 9Volt power supply unit(not supplied but apparently can still be purchased).  I have included are-print instruction guide and it comes in the original box as shown.
