The rugged look on this jacket is intended since is creation. The PVC oil coating is a staple off this model jacket and is fading throughout time gives this jacket its unique look.


This jacket was produced during the 1950s and 1960s by Belstaff and is now a design classic. It was intended to be worn by motorcyclists and is made from a sheet rubber PVC material and has electronic welded seams making it both highly waterproof and windproof. The jacket features a 'Aero' branded zip to the front which is hidden behind a fly which fastens with 'Newey' press studs. Two flapped pockets are located to the skirt and also fasten with pop studs, as do the cuffs. The original waist belt is still fitted to the middle through two belt loops,To the rear of the waist belt is a section of reflective material which is a feature of this design. The jacket can be fastened around the neck with the aid of a collar strap and eyelets are located to each armpit to allow for ventilation.
