August Henri Dufour (1798-1865) was a Paris based cartographer active in the middle to late nineteenth century.  He published a range of atlases, both contemporary and historical.  He published and printed in his own name and worked with a number of printing houses across Paris.  This map is taken from an atlas of modern and ancient geography printed by Louis Antoine at 70 Rue des Noyers in about 1860.  Antoine had printed a number of atlases for Dufour including his 'Atlas Universal' and these maps used Dufour's masters.
