This practical dog coat will without a doubt, keep your dog warm, cosy and dry when out and about. It has a removable fleece lining which makes it suitable for all types of weather and it has a removable hood and stand up collar to provide additional warmth and shelter. Measuring your dog for a coat:
Certain breeds, over or underweight dog may need a custom fit. There are two measurements that need to be made in order to get the correct fit.
For the length, one of the most important measurements, measure the backbone of the dog from the base of the neck to the start of the tail (the base of your dogs back). Start the neck measurement where the collar would sit naturally on your pet's neck/back.
Also measure around the chest 1/2"behind the front legs. This is the thickest part of the chest. This measurement is often referred to as the girth. Remember that this may vary by breed.
Remember to check your dog size against individual product items.
