For those new to Gene Shelly, her dresses were hand-beaded in the previously British colony of Hong Kong, which was known for the high quality beading during this time period. The base of her dresses are a super-soft wool knit, giving a great feel against the skin and lots of flexibility of movement. Her dresses are incredibly sexy yet very easy to wear. This is a Marilyn Monroe-worthy that would be the perfect for any formal event - weddings, galas, cocktail parties. Stunning!

Very good condition. Minor bead loss (see last photo).
