Key Blank Identification Instructions

• Please send us one or more of the items below so we can verify your key:
  1. Clear picture of your key on both sides, laying on a flat surface.
  2. Key code for your vehicle/lock.
  3. Key numbers/letters/names stamped on your key.
     •  VIN number will not help us.
     • A key code is a special number given to match your locks, which converts to the key blank and cuts needed by our locksmiths to cut your key by code.
     • A key code is NOT the same as a key part number. 
     • A key part number is referred to as a SKU-Stock Keeping Unit, simply a stock number.
     • Please be sure to match your key number, key groves, and tip of key to our existing key.

Key Blank Substitutions

• The key blank you receive may be different than the pictures depending on the manufacturer, shape, part number, material, finish, or availability.
• Exceptions would be if you are purchasing an original OEM, look alike, DND (Do Not Duplicate), precut or specialty key blank.
• If you prefer one manufacturer over another one, please let us know when you place your order, and we will try and meet your request.
• We reserve the right to make changes, or upgrade if it is the same keyway ordered.

Key Cutting

• This key must be cut BEFORE it will work.
• Can be cut at any place that cuts keys, BUT we highly recommend using a professional, knowledgeable locksmith.
• This is NOT a transponder or chip key blank.
• This is not a OEM original key blank.
• If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
