Vintage 1960s MCM Micro-planter with tiny glass nest insert.

This tiny black and yellow planter stand 3” high and is 4.25” wide, with a bright glossy glaze. But, there is a hidden surprise! There is an even tinier glass “nest” with two glass spheres which are attached inside the base—they must have beed placed prior to kiln- firing as the nest would not clear the opening otherwise. This is so unique, i can’t find another one like it. The bottom is unmarked and attribution has been debated between early Brush McCoy, Shawnee or Apco. This may have been a salesman model florist trade shows or sakes calls. Mint condition, it does not appear to have ever held a plant. Cute cute cute!
