The Air Jordan 12 was initially released in tribute to the Japanese Rising Sun Flag. Nike has continued to expand on this classic silhouette by finding new ways of updating the original design, this time as a nod to “The Master” poster released in the late 1990s. The Air Jordan 12 Retro BP 'The Master' features a premium leather upper with quilted panels. The sneaker also boasts pebbled leather on the mudguard and gold detailing on the upper lace eyelets.
The Jordan 12 pays homage to the inspiration Tinker Hatfield had when designing the first Air Jordan shoe that was part of the Jordan Brand franchise. Also features a Phylon midsole with a full-length Zoom Air unit, 3/4-length carbon fiber shank, and modified herringbone outsole.
