For tobogganing, skiing, horseback riding, winter walks, mountain hikes or pushing snow, stockings over the calf*(Please see size note) offer extra protection against cold and wind.

High quality and workmanship: the toe seam, also called "toe", is finely closed (hand-linked toe) so that the socks do not pinch in the toe area.

What Are the Special Properties of Alpaca Wool?

• Particularly soft on the skin due to the smooth fibre structure
• Very good thermal insulation due to the hollow space in the secondary fibre
• Alpaca warms in cold and cools in warmth, making the sock comfortable for all seasons
• Wool made from alpaca fibres is 3x more tear-resistant than sheep's wool, making them socks robust and hard-wearing
• Felts less than other types of wool
• Contains hardly any wool grease and is therefore well suited for allergy sufferers

Last but not least:

• Alpaca fibre takes on few odours and even has a self-cleaning function. Putting the socks out in the fresh air works wonders

Size Note: The shaft strokes is 14 inches (35 cm). The long stocking socks reach to the knee for 1.65 M (5.4 FT) tall wearers. For very tall sock wearers, they cover approximately 7/8 of the calf in size 45-47.

Care instructions: machine wash 30° degrees on wool cycle, wool spin only (lowest speed under 400rpm), not suitable for tumble dryer.
