A very fine French certified violin bow made by Louis Gillet ca. 1935. This is a nice example and EXCELLENT PLAYING BOW. Gillet was an outstanding bow maker who worked with Sartory from 1934 until 1946. The bow is in a fine state of preservation. It is one of the best sounding examples and high level playing bow.
The stick is golden brown pernambuco, the frog and button are ebony with nickel mountings. The length of the stick is 72.8 cm and the weight of the bow is 62.5 g.
