 DESCRIPTION:
Estate fresh and in nearly immaculate, pristine overall condition, having said to have had only had one previous owner and to have been in the finely appointed southern New Hampshire estate where it was removed from. Not only is this large, nearly monumental mid-late 19th century German salt-glazed stoneware ceramic, highly detailed, ornate Baroque handled vase in glorious condition, it transfixes one's gaze with its several pictorial vignettes of Baroque male and female dancers in full period costume, formally dancing together, as if at an aristocratic, regal ball under the critical inspection of other attendees. The elaborately decorated vase has highly ornate, long, braided and wrapped ceramic handles, resembling bound hemp cord or perhaps bundled brass wire. The top of the vase has a wide, fluted opening, festooned with Baroque Christian crosses, repeating across the fluted top's sidewalls. The bas-relief figurative imagery is highly detailed and well realized. The flared base has repeating classical fans and vertical paddles. In sepia brown, charcoal black & putty white colors with a highly reflective, glossy finish. Undamaged. Very clean and very beautiful. A simply gorgeous European Baroque piece of ceramic art.

 CONDITION:
Very Good to Excellent overall vintage condition.
