Description of item for sale:

This cast bonze reliquary dates to the late 1800's or early 1900's and is from France.  It is solid bronze with original glass windows on all sides.  The interior is accessed by unbolting the base from the underside.  The velvet interior pad is stained here and there from the objects it contained (see photos).  The bronzework is in very good antique condition, lightly patinated to a beautiful antique bronze patina.  There is a little verdigris here and there in the crevices and seams.  A few of the small fittings and protrusions are very slightly bent as would be expected.  Dimensions: 26" tall, 16" wide and 12" deep.  It weighs 17 lbs.  (5547)
