Jackson & Gosling Pagoda Bowl 5 inches diameter at top x 3 inches high. This was part of a large tea set however the bowl could be used as sauce bowl, trinket bowl etc.

This multicoloured oriental patterned set with dark orange bands to edges is very rare; I found one online site which states it was manufactured in the 1930's, so it's nearly 100 years old.

In good vintage condition. It has faint glaze crackle on the outside and inside of the bowl and two tiny pin prick size holes which would have occured in production. See close up photos.

There is wear to the edges consistent with use and age. There are tiny dots and paint marks within the glaze which are iron ore and paint particles that have oxidised at high temperature in the kiln and are particularly common in vintage and antique china. Any blemishes are reflected in the selling price.

I've included photos to show most surfaces. Please look at each one carefully as these form part of the sale.

I am also selling separately the matching milk jug, cake plate, orphan saucer and tea plate. If you buy more than one listing, postage will be combined. This listing is for the bowl only.

I list my items on other selling sites so they may end on here sooner than stated. If you would like to see my whole range in one place, follow me on Instagram @grayheroncollections
