These are not toys, they are intended for decorative use only. Though these eggs have been coated which adds some strength to them they are still genuine egg shells and therefore are breakable. The figurines and embellishments are glued on and can be dislodged if hadled rough. If you find a drill hole large enough for a mini light from your tree it was left there intentionally to light the inside of the ornament .
