A very fine German certified violin bow made by J.W. Knopf ca. 1870. This is a superb example and excellent playing bow. The stick is dark red brown pernambuco of superior choice and figuration, octagonal, the frog is ebony with silver mountings, the button is ebony and silver. The bow is in a fine state of preservation. The length of the stick 72.7 cm and the weight of the bow is 61 g.
