A unique diorama of Jenson Button's accident from free practice for the 2003 Monaco Grand Prix. The diorama shows the moment after the initial impact with the tire barrier, which bounced the car next to the side barriers. In Saturday's free practice at the Monaco Grand Prix, Button lost control of his car after exiting the tunnel and hit the tire barrier behind the chicane. The barrier could not absorb the entire impact (as it happens nowadays), so the race car bounced to the side barriers. According to press information, the impact at a speed of 289 km/h had a force of up to 33G. Due to injuries, Button was not able to participate in qualifying or the race in the streets of the principality. For the upcoming race weekend in Canada he already received permission to start from the medical team.

Button is the 2009 world champion with Brawn GP. He drove all seasons in the F1 series from 2000 to 2016. He drove for Williams, Benetton, Renault, BAR, Honda, Brawn GP and McLaren. In his career he won 15 victories, 50 podium places and 8 pole positions.

The basis is a diecast model of BAR Honda 005 made by Minichamps, customised according to records and photos from the accident.

Quality handwork. The model and accessories are mounted firmly on a base and equipped with an acrylic display case.
