Antique Piano Baby Germany Bisque Porcelain Doll Bonnet Holding Toes Pale Blue

COMMENTS: A beautifully preserved “petite” piece probably dating to the late Nineteenth to early Twentieth centuries.  There is a fragment of a sticker that remains, on its base, that is hard to read but at least we can still make out that it was hand-painted. It is done very much in the style of Gebruder Heubach of Germany. Colors are still quite gorgeous. The baby wears blue, and yet it could be either a boy or a girl. Fine delicate features such as fingers and toes are all undamaged, with no signs of old repairs, etc. This is as good as it gets!
