Product Description
The Sevenoak SKGHC20 GE kit is a portable aluminium cage designed for Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH3 and GH4 cameras which adds protection, stability and mounting options to the camera. The kit includes a form fitting camera cage, wood grip, top hand grip, micro HDM1 adaptor cable, HDM1 plug protector, quick release base plate, cold shoes, ¼” and 3/8th mounting points. The form fitting camera cage allows full access to the camera’s controls, buttons, battery, and SD card slot. The cold shoes, ¼” and 3/8” mounting points allow the user to mount different accessories.
 
The HDMI plug protector alleviates the problem of wearing or damaging the micro HDMI port by repeated plugging and unplugging the cable into the camera body and helps prevent the HDMI cable from becoming unplugged during a shoot. This is particularly important when using an external monitor or recorder.
 
The built in ¼” and 3/8” mounting points and cold shoes on the top hand grip enable the mounting of various useful accessories. The cage also comes with a quick release plate and a pair of 15mm standard rods that enable the user to remove and remount the camera from the rods easily and quickly. With the ¼” and 3/8” mounting points on the quick release plate, the cage can be easily mounted onto or removed from a tripod, rig or other device.
