Here's an early pattern glass item called Ribbed Pillar also known as Marblescent.  It was made by Northwood c. 1889.  This is the 7" tall covered Sugar Bowl with a satin finish.  At well over 100 years of age, it's a true antique.  No cracks, chips, lines, crust or discoloration of any kind.    Any unusual white or dark spots shown in the photos are from camera glare.
