This is a rather Impressive Cameo Necklace. The necklace is crafted from 800 silver, tiny accent seed pearls swell as fresh river pearls. The necklace features 6 Very finely carved cameo images. The cameos are hand carved from conch shell. The shell is pink in the background with a white rendering of an elegant lady on each. The carvings are all different from one another and very well done down to a very fine detail. The cameos are set in 800 silver in a bezel frame with seed pearls surrounding the boarder of each. The cameos are spaced with a 800 silver chain and natural fresh water drilled pearl beads. Each of the cameos with the exception on the center largest one, feature a large natural fresh water river pearl drop. The necklace is finished with a replacement sterling clasp from the 1920s. The condition of this necklace is excellent with normal wear. I see one seed pearl missing on one of the end cameos closest to the clasp.

Length: 17.5 inches. (fits more like a 15 inch because of the cameo sizes. The chain can be extended at the back)
